My private, purpose built studio is located in the quite village of Great Billing in Northampton

The cost of each session is £65 which will be invoiced via email and will require payment prior to the session.

Yes, whilst face to face sessions provide the ultimate experience, I can offer remote sessions should this be necessary.

No, this is due to the individual nature of therapy and whilst some may feel a tangible difference within a few sessions, it can take others a longer time to work through the issues that are brought into the therapy room.  No pressure is applied to complete therapy and as the client you are in control of this.

Whilst we initially sign a therapeutic agreement to schedule regular sessions at a slot suitable to you, there is no obligation to attend any of these.  

Yes, It is totally understandable that things happen in life, such as work commitments or illness that ultimately result in you needing to occasionally cancel a session.  If less than 24hrs notice is given then you will still be liable for the full session fee.  Anything prior to this will incur no cost.

Yes, as a CAMHS specialist mental health practitioner and previously as a Secondary School Counsellor I have worked closely with young people and am fully qualified, DBS certified and insured to work with under 18's.  However, I do not work with any children under secondary school age (school year 7).

Sessions are limited to between 6-8 sessions to provide maximum benefit without creating a dependence or need for therapy. 

Confidentiality is integral to the Therapeutic process and will be kept as far as possible.

The following are the only exceptions to this rule and under legal obligations confidentiality must be breached: 

· If at any time I deem that you are at risk of harming either yourself or others. 

· If at any time I am required by law to disclose information, breaches include child protection, drug trafficking or acts of terrorism. 

Brief notes are made following each session – these contain no identifying information and will be securely stored for a period of 7 years in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) 

The only information provided will be that which the client divulges and will include contact details used solely for the purpose of communicating with you. Any details stored electronically are subject to two levels of encryption. 

Yes, there is a driveway that can be used by clients. 

No, there is no toilet facilities within the purpose built therapy space.

Due to a counsellors continued professional development we must attend regular supervision to ensure we are working ethically whilst also ensuring the safety and well-being of both client and counsellor – all clients are anonymised during supervision.
